The record for designing and constructing the first zero-energy bungalow on a plot of 284 sq. meters was set by Ashish Balkrishna Sheth (born on August 31, 1980) of Pune, Maharashtra. The bungalow is located in Pirangute, Maharashtra, with eco design approach. The construction was completed in 30 months and he had been conferred with International Organization of Scientific Research and Development (IOSRD) award in Delhi for this project, as confirmed on August 10, 2019.
